1.Monitoring of the POP equipments like routers, modems, UPS, A / c etc. and
ensuring they are in proper running condition to ensure 100% uptime of the POP.
Ensuring that the POP equipments are installed properly as and when new equipments
arrive.
2. Proper Labeling of equipments, cables and other related equipments in the POP to
enable easy troubleshooting.
3.Troubleshoot the terrestrial link failures in the respective POPs and update the
central NOC on the progress of the same. Liaison with the local designated vendor
for maintenance of the links as and when they are observed down.
4. Maintain all technical records of the lease / PSTN / ISDN lines ( like circuits #, pair nos. ) terminating in the respective pops.
5.maintain records of escalation charts, contact personal for electric wiring, UPS
vendors, and other details to be used in case of emergencies.
6. Maintain hardware inventory of routers / Modems etc. These routers / Modems will
be dispatched in case of any hardware turns faulty which is under HCIL maintenance.
7. Follow up with the vendor for the repair of any hardware ( Router / Modem ) in
case it turns faulty.
8.Liaison with new vendors if needed for getting the new infrastructure laid /
commissioned. To follow up for the bills on regular monthly basis with the service
providers like Bharti, Reliance, BSNL.
9. Maintain Proper records for inward and outward movement all hardware for the
equipments, v.35 cables etc.
10.plan for weekly maintenance windows in advance for preventive Maintenance etc.
and intimate the HCIL NOC.
11. The Duration of the services provided are mentioned in this document on a
allocation wise basis. Any Change in the service duration schedule will be
communicated by the Manager MNS / VPN Operations to the Contractor central
coordinator.
