Thomas Lee

*** ******** **.

Owensboro, KY 42303

Dear Employer:

I am writing to request consideration for the open position you have. I feel I have an excellent work record and I have worked very hard to gain my educational background. I want to make a career in the Human Resources field (or a closely related field) but the job you have available seems to be challenging and closely related to what I do at Toyota now. We have used the techniques in your job description on a daily basis here at Toyota. I am a quick learner and would be willing to take on the challenge of further study to meet company needs.

I hold two degree’s; a B.S. in Applied Management with an emphasis in human resources, and an A.S. in Business Administration. My B.S. degree is through NAU (National American University, Rapid City, SD) and I have a 3.79 GPA. My A.S. degree is through Daymar College (Owensboro, KY) which I held a 3.87 GPA. Currently I hold a job with Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Indiana, and have maintained full time work while going to school, and raising a family. I feel that I have excellent attendance, dedication, and I am committed to obtaining my goals.

I have excellent team working skills, excellent written and verbal speaking skills, trained on the Microsoft Office Suite, and am proficient in all. I have accounting experience, and have taken numerous classes in personnel management. I have also had several classes in the human resources field of study in my upper degree. As I continue on with my mission to learn and grow in this field of study, I believe that I can be an asset to your company.

I would appreciate the opportunity to talk to you further about this position at your convenience. Enclosed is a chronological resume for your review which briefly summarizes my background. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Thomas Lee
