Global engineering, program & construction management firm with over 13,000 employees providing

comprehensive infrastructure services on six continents through over 250 offices.

Assistant Vice President, Global Infrastructure Manager, 2009 - 2013

Leading company’s Enterprise Infrastructure team responsible for: strategic planning,

technological innovation, assessment/selection of new products and services, upgrade planning,

user impact analysis, cost analysis, vendor negotiation, contracts review, service level

improvements, and risk management. Major accomplishments included:

- Orchestrated an extensive team in the sourcing and implementation of a vendor-

managed global MPLS WAN infrastructure, including Internet and security gateways.

Implementation included 130 MPLS sites in over 25 countries and six external gateways

based in each of the major global geographic data centers. Project took 18 months to

complete resulting in 30% annual savings with significant improvements in performance,

reliability, and the security profile.

Responsibilities involved project management, staff management, vendor management, capacity

planning, infrastructure architecture design, and communications with customers and

stakeholders. Assisted in managing department’s budget. Major accomplishments included:

• Project managed and technologically led infrastructure integration of a total of seven

different company acquisitions including a 2000 employee company in the UK with 22 sites,

and a 1500 employee acquisition in Australia with 12 sites. The integrations included all IT

Infrastructure systems such as network, Active Directory migration, Email system, DMZ, and

Intranet. Each one of the projects completed successfully in short time with no business

disruption, ensuring minimal user impact and profitability of the acquired companies.

• Established company’s Enterprise Information Security group. Managed the group for

period of one year, and transitioned the function to newly hired security manager.

• Implemented an automated Active Directory account provisioning system linked to

corporate Human Resources database. The system has eliminated two full time positions and

substantially improved security and delivery time.

• Spearheaded company’s global Standards Committee for seven consecutive years to

improve operational efficiency and to facilitate global purchasing discount opportunities.

• Reduced software licensing costs by over $1 million per year by establishing Enterprise Agreements with

Microsoft and Symantec. Implemented a software monitoring system and organized all software licensing

under one enterprise group.

• Established, developed, and managed company’s global Email system including migration

of a 2000 user Notes based acquisition to Microsoft Exchange. One of the first companies to

test and implement BlackBerry systems in the US.

Led a global project to Integrate 130 dispersed Windows NT domains into one global

Active Directory domain allowing all users to authenticate via same single sign-on system

regardless of their location or connectivity type.

Established, developed, and managed company’s Wide Area Network (WAN) starting

with three sites. Developed the WAN to a global network with 130 sites in alignment with

business requirements into a seamless multi-vendor, multi-technology fabric. The network

has gone through four technology/contract refresh cycles since.

Project managed numerous project site office deployments, corporate office relocations,

and project staff mobilization.

Designed Server and Networking solution for the conversion of the ERP system from

IBM mainframe based to Oracle E-business suite using Sun Solaris platform.
