Abstract: This paper mainly presents the construction of jetty and piers

and T shape piles and construction of retaining wall, to calculate the

strengthening of fly ash roads. These types of roads construct with using

of fly ash bricks and to check this type of roads are suitable for

transport facilities for heavy loads. The T shape piles are constructed by

using DMC and RMC. Jetty's and Piers are constructed and to calculate the

capacity. It also illustrates how to construct the piles in underground of

water.

MAIN PROJECT: M20 CONCRETE MIX DESIGN & COMPARISON OF 28 DAYS CHARACTERSTIC

COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH CONCRETE USING SEA SAND.

Abstract : This paper mainly presents the practical study of the

compressive strength of the concreting which fine aggregate is partially or

fully replaced by sea sand in construction of various concrete structures

.For this study first the concrete mix design was done for M20 grade

concrete and a suitable design mixed with better economy and greater

durability was selected .The quantity of fine aggregate in the design mix

was replaced by percentage of sea sand which is 20%,40%,60%,80% and

100%.Compressive strength test is conducted on the various fine aggregate

proportion. Results of the test indicated that proportion of sea sand and

mix design were the two key factors on which the quality, durability and

strength of concrete depended up on. Increasing the percentage of sea sand

in concrete significantly reduces the concrete system of the concrete that

is used in structures. The rate of strength gained by a continuously cover

sample beyond 28 days was also found to be significantly low a weakness in

sea sand concrete was son during the compressive test experiment. This

paper presents the role of different percentages in the cements concrete

that came as a result of our survey to their effect. The material used or

based on the specifications given in the code book IS -10262:1982 and IS-

456:2000.For this purpose 60 concrete blocks including sea sand blocks were

designed for a practical strength and applications in building works. Two

trial mixes were laid based on concrete mix design and the one that provide

to be economical and durable consider for the purpose. The water cement

ratio used for this experiment was 0.5.The mould sizes used were 150mm X

150mmX 150mm. The compressive strength of concrete blocks for respective

mixed proportions were tested at 7, 14 and 28 days of water curing. Based

on the results obtained, conclusion can be made which is the appropriate

percentage of sea sand that can be used in construction of various

structures without reducing the lifetime of those structures.
