assigned area, maintain a logbook and records during my assigned shift as directed, conduct

have access within his/her assigned area of control during his/her time of incarceration. I also

protect the public, employees, and inmates. While providing service to the South Carolina

Department of Corrections, I’ve received the “Can Do” for achieving goals at the institution.

Lastly, while in Basic Training, I graduated top 5 of my class. While working in the

Department of Corrections, I’ve learned many new things. I strive for the best in all I do. I

plan to put my best foot forward in all that I do, and the Department of Corrections has taught

me just that.

While working at Pilgrim Pride, my job duties were to operate various flour

machines in which I was very well trained, to keep my work area sanitized, to distribute

poultry to various companies, and I also used teamwork to complete all tasks that were

assigned to me. I do have experience in several departments at Pilgrim Pride, Breading,

Packing, Shipping, Loading, Unloading, Deboning, and Marinating. Pilgrim Pride has

taught me that team work is very important in the working world. Teamwork was the key

factor that has helped to advance while working with this company. I do plan to continue

to use teamwork when the opportunity presents itself.

While working at UTI, my job duties were to do daily inventory of company

products. I operated several spinning machines at once, inspected and packed material to

be shipped on the next shipping day, I scanned tubes for defects and discoloration. I’ve

also received the “Employee of the Month” Award. I’ve learned at UTI that you must pay

close attention to detail and to always double check your work. Even if you are sure

everything is correct, you must make sure by going over your work one last time for

anything that you may have overlooked.

While working at Nayyarsons Dining Facility, my job duties were to serve

breakfast, lunch and dinner to military personnel throughout the day. I also had to make

sure eating area was sanitary at all times. Lastly, I have to do various housekeeping duties

throughout the facility. This job gave me the opportunity to meet new people from

various parts of the world, which I truly enjoyed. The key factor that I have learned while

working with this company is to make sure your work area is clean and neat. If you have

order in your working area, you can insure accuracy while working.

Working at UPS during the Christmas rush was only a part time position, but during that time

my duties were to load and unload trucks, wrap products, packing, labeling, shipping &

receiving. I had to work at a fast pace and had to learn to work under a heavy pressured

environment. I also had to be a reliable team player.
