Project Title: Overview of Drilling Operation and Rate of Penetration Analysis.
Description: This project report based on drilling operation process and their articu late in ESSAR CBM drilling project.
First part of this report describe Type of drilling operation, Technique, Rig Selection, Surface and Bottom hole
equipment, Casing and Cementing and Problem occurs during drilling operation. Second part is ROP Analysis b ased on
WOB and RPM of vertical and Directional Drilled section .ROP optimization carried out with the use of simplex method
for better optimization result. And comparison of ROP based on formation Lithology and Optimized result.

Project Title: Impact of Fluid Hydraulics during Drilling operation. Duration: 1 Month

Description: Fluid hydraulics plays vital role in hole cleaning and lifting of cuttings, prevention of caving and borehole
stabilization. This report is based on comparison study Fluid Regimes & Fluid Laws that influence fluid hydraulics. And
on the basis of observed result it is proposed that the Power Model gives best result tha n other at low Shear rate.
Because at low shear rate better hole cleaning occurs.

Project Title: PROCESSING AND CHARACTERIZATION OF JUTE-EPOXY COMPOSITE REINFORCED.
Description: The aim of this study is to determine the mechanical properties of developed composite plates by
varying percentage of jute. The composite plates are fabricated by hand la yup techniques which is very economical. The
flextural properties under three point bend test are investigated experimentally by using the theory of bending of beam.
Experimental results shows that the composite plate made with jute (60%) have strength clo sely related to plate made
up of glass fibre (100%), finally the developed reinforced composites are then characterized by flexture strength,
bending stress and compressive strength. Also, impact test is performed on Charpy’s Impact testing machine to asse ss
shock absorbing capability of material.
