• Using Lean principles, set up committees involving plant floor personnel to implement project plans for

continuous improvement, resulted in many positive changes, most notably improved product quality, improved

productivity and nearly 20% reduction of re-work.

• With Lean initiatives, in Kaizen events, changed department layouts, and individual work cells to improve flow

distance between stations saving 7,000 steps daily.

changes in the processing of shop orders, and manufacturing procedures, thus reducing mistakes and rework by

45%.

• Changed the final stages of the assembly process by constructing, and purchasing better ergonomic, and practical

assembly stations including handling equipment in order to eliminate double-handling, increase quality, and

reduce worker fatigue and potential for injuries.

• Eliminated several hazardous conditions, and changed methods to improve safety.
