Object : We have used 128 bit key length which is very high secured and
efficiency for electronic devices. I t is based on advanced encryption
standards using Rijindael cipher. I ts VLSI (Very Large Scale Integrated)
based project.
A ES is block cipher algorithm that has been analyzed extensively and is
now used widely. AES is intended to replace DES as the approved standard
for wide range of application. Rijindael is very secure and has no known
weakness and also it is conventional (symmetric key) and is relatively
simple cipher in many aspects. I t takes an input block of certain size usually
128 bit key length and produces the corresponding output block of the same
size The transformation requires a second input which is the secret key.
In this work, both encryption and decryption will be carried out with the key
length of 128 bit key length.ie; both AES encrypter and decrypter were
i ntegrated. Hence the input block and secret key will be provided for
encryption and cipher block and same secret key will provided to the
decryption to get proper block as output.
