Description: In recent years, the frequent occurrence of landslide

disasters, caused great harm to peoples lives and properties. This design

of landslide warning system combines combines GSM wireless communication

technology and wireless sensor network and wireless sensor monitoring nodes

are distributed on the hillside which construct a wireless data collection

network based on zigbee protocol.

Designing the landslide warning system based on the wireless sensor

network uses the liquid level sensors and angle sensors that are used to

monitor water level and slope angles of mountain and the warning signals

are sent using the GSM Module. This system achieves no wiring, no duty, 24

hours of continuous work, low cost, low power, remote monitoring. Tools

used are MPLAB Ide, Embedded C, PIC Bootloader+.
