Projects

ULTRA FAST ACTING CIRCUIT BREAKER

Ultra-fast circuit breaker is a device to shut down the power supply instantaneously while it is

overloaded. The tripping mechanism is very fast as it is based on current sensing principles rather than

thermal based trip mechanism like the MCB. A microcontroller can be used for getting a display on an

LCD upon the status of the circuit breaker.

HYDROPOWER GENERATION

This project gives an introduction to different type of hydropower plants, elements of hydropower plant,

hydro generators, and about some of the equipment’s which controls the power generation within safety

limits, with a brief study of the “HIRAKUD HYDROPOWER PROJECT”.

Achievements

• Led my stream (EEE) in the National Level Technical Fest that has been conducted in our Engg.

College.

• Stood 2nd in the science exhibition for modeling a Dynamo in my 9th standard.

• Stood 1st in a Robotic event called “Electro-Mechano” conducted at VasaviEngg. College.

• Given few Technical papers on Electrical & Electronic Technologies.
