I've been working from home with architects, engineers and contractors on a verity of different projects and taking

care of our baby girl. She's turning one now, we're getting her into daycare and it's time for me to rejoin the

workforce. Since starting Jackson Design & Drafting I've drafted architectural and structural projects from

accessible duplexes to complete churches as well as specialized drawings for engineers. I have also self trained

myself with a 3D program called "Blender" I've been using it to generate realistic renderings for customers. I can

When I first started with Danco my responsibilities included consulting with customers and owners on building

designs,

d rafting preliminary and final drawings for projects (Architectural and Structural) as well as estimating as-built

p rojects. During my employment my duties expanded to include estimating public bid jobs, pricing and ordering

metal building packages from Star Building Systems using Stars software, ordering materials and solving field

issues that occurred.

I detailed steel for pre-engineered steel buildings per the engineers data. That includes shop drawings, material

l ist and building drawings to erect the building by. Previous to A&S I worked with the same co-workers at Steelox

I nc. for about 4 years, until the company closed. When steelox closed there were about 18 people in the office and I

was one of the 10 that they brought over to start the A&S office in Rocky Mount.
