Major Project: Power Management and Meter Reading using Zigbee
Wireless Sensor Network.
Abstract:
The aim of the project is to save the power consumption.We used
normal mode and restricted mode. Normal mode is used in
homes,hospitals,etc..Restricted mode for industrial purpose. Normal mode we
use maximum amount of power.Restricted mode
limited amount of power only used . when the power exceeds the limit, power
is switched off automatically by E.B .Only needed power is utilized and
remaining is saved. Zigbee is act as Transceiver between home and E.B . We
can measure the power used by home directly in Electricity Board with the
help of zigbee without coming to home.
