materials testing for I-15 Corridor Expansion (I-15 CORE) project in Utah
County, Utah. This largest project in the state's history included the
complete reconstruction of 24 miles of the existing I-15 interstate, adding
two (2) lanes in each direction, rebuilding and reconfiguring ten (10)
interchanges and sixty-three (63) bridges in Utah County.
. Increased scope of accreditation by the addition of 4 test procedures
to required AASHTO Material Reference Laboratory (AMRL) base within
two years.
. Prepared annual department budget for corporate approval.
. Performed second tier review and approval of 110,000 individual QA
tests (earthwork, concrete and flexible paving) utilizing RKI
proprietary web-based electronic data management system.
. Inspected aggregate sources before Concrete Paving production; quality

construction and materials issues with UDOT and contractor, resulting
