Operations Program Manager II (2004 – 2013)

Accountable to Lockheed Martin and BAE Senior Management for the management of all functions,

customer relations and project and product performance related to Programs and Contracts.

Introduced various Military New Product Designs by leading the transition from Engineering to

Manufacturing. Directed 12 to 20 people across multiple functions Engineering, Procurement,

Planning and Quality Assurance. Managed using the EVMS (Earned Value Management System)

and provided CAVAR's (Cost Account Variance Analysis Report). Supported all aspects of Resource

Loading Master Schedules (Cycle Time, Labor Hours and Material Cost). Provided a strong sense of

teamwork on a multifunction team supporting various phases on developmental programs.

• Managed product documentation release between Engineering and Operations, while directing

$10M of material order placements which resulted in meeting the integrated scheduled

milestones

• Liaise that resolved material requirements exceptions between the Suppliers and Engineering

which resulted in on time delivery and controlled cost

• Managed ECO activity (10 to 20 / week), impacting manufacturing (Process, Material,

Tooling),ensuring that there was no impact to the delivery date

• Organized and managed the Producibility Reviews on 3 programs that were new designs,

which led to a successful manufacturing build on time and within budget

• Conducted and Composed a successful Customer Manufacturing Readiness Review's (MRR)

which enabled on time releases that met the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) critical

milestones

• Established monthly Estimate to Complete (ETC's) for all Operations functions on programs

of $15M to $25M to justify the remaining activities needed to complete the project

• Provided competitively costed, accurate, proposals of various contract types (FP, T&M, CP)

within time and budget requirements in a 3 week cycle

• Managed and presented Manufacturing Build Plans across 5 different facilities at weekly

Customer status meetings and received unsolicited positive feedback from the customers

Main customer Interface responsible for the coordination, direction and execution of planning the repair of

critical Customer Field Returns on 7 different product lines across 6 Manufacturing facilities.

• Stabilized Customer confidence with on-time delivery performance by identifying and resolving

bottlenecks within the Field Return process that lead to a 20% reduction in the repair cycle time

• Effectively managed Operations budget, reported metrics, and created and presented slide

packages to the Customer which gave the customer an accurate picture of the program
