USD, 2.2 km2, 60,000 working population, Customs Bonded Warehouse
facilities consisting of offices, a hotel, cold storage, metal
storage, pharmaceutical storage, car storage. Provided detailed
design of clean water, irrigation, sewerage, stormwater, firefighting
and telecommunications duct networks as well as design of underground
storage sewerage holding tanks, stormwater outfalls with their head
works and stormwater collection ponds
. Upgraded a 15 year old water distribution system for a labour
accommodation facility (increasing from 60K to 100K population) to
address chronic peak level low water pressure:
o dealt with emergency line brakes; upgraded capacity; renewed/
replaced problem lines
o introduced remote electronic volume monitoring and control of pumps
and valves
o improved the water pressure (from negative to 95% of desirable
pressure throughout the system)
o eliminated unplanned outages
. Redesigned & remodelled old water and irrigation networks to
accommodate the increased demand as growth in various areas of Abu
Dhabi exploded
. Delivered complete design packages including technical drawings,
design, modeling with calculations, specifications and Bills of
Quantities

. Managed the maintenance and cleaning works as well as design and
management of relocation, diversion, re-levelling works in the
existing stormwater drainage networks of Abu Dhabi
. Designed and supervised the improvement of irrigation mainlines to/
from inlets/ outlets of irrigation pump stations and reservoirs
. To deal with high water table issues caused by the proximity to the
sea, designed subsurface drainage systems from perforated pipelines
with filter surround material to drain subsurface water from
construction sites and landscaping areas
