. Be supervised 140,000-tons/year Polypropylene Plant for project

construction and operation (Licensed from the Montell Company, Italy);

managing the plant's installation, modification and commissioning

process; providing leadership and work direction to on-site

contractors; be examined and approved project budgets, equipment

purchases and negotiated technical issues with Chinese and Italian

suppliers; overseeing installation quality control and commissioning

schedule. Be finalized start-up, shutdown and emergency procedures. Be

trained for new operators and millwrights. Be made for preparation for

starting up; budget of parts, materials, expenses and schedule for

process equipment testing & operations.

. Be performing troubleshooting for process equipment. Minimized

equipment risks of breakdown by performing regular equipment checks

and maintenances. Be proficient with process equipment's status

analysis, management of change, performance loss and failure

investigations. Be familiar with plant systems and P&ID/ PFD &

equipment blue drawings. Draw up plans and procedures for shutdown,

turnaround, and re-commissioning. Monitor plant performance; optimize

plant's processing, and so forth.

. Conduct the analysis for equipment operations and performance, such as

vibration, lube oil, start-up failure and noise analysis. Study &

troubleshoot pneumatic conveying systems for polymers in PP and LDPE

plants. Identify bottlenecks of facility that affecting the efficient

operation of the plant and develop solutions. Increase the output of

the PP plant from 140,000-ton/year to 170,000-ton/year by improving

piping and facilities. Be making control for operation costs by

adjusting process's parameters & procedures, and improving process's

equipment systems. Troubleshooting plant process's problems and

suggesting short-term and long-term solutions.

. Be expert in adjusted the parameters of process equipment. Be skilled

in computer applications that including MS Word, Excel, Access, E-

mail, and Internet Explorer; visited plant production sites to do

equipment checks, operational parameters confirming for unusual

noises, leakage, vibration, and over-heating examinations, etc.

Mechanical / Reliability Engineer of Polyethylene Plant

. Direct the processes & project construction of a 140,000-tons/year

Polyethylene Plant (Licensed from the Dow Chemical, USA). Assist with

EPCM solving equipment problems and management of change.

. Be expert in equipment framework and principles, and formulated

optimization procedures for operations. Studied PE fluidized bed

reactor process and dealt with related problems. Revamped large

mechanical equipment such as compressors and extruders, and improved

their operational reliabilities: upgrading the LLDPE loop compressor

(AC compressor company, USA); changing the design to solve the problem

for oil leakage when it started; giving directions on disassembling an

extruder in order to replace fractured screws; and resolving the

piping vibration problem for the plant polymer pneumatic conveying

system. Conduct safety and hazard reviews of plant projects and

incorporate the required modifications.

. Be expert in many kinds of process equipment, such as compressors and

pumps, gas turbines, forming machines, columns, reactors, pressure

vessels, heat exchangers, furnaces and pipeline systems. Provide

technical support to shutdowns, turnarounds and commissioning and in

charge of plant process equipment maintenance during both daily

operations and turnarounds.
