Welding Foreman position within your clients Company as viewed on the
internet.
As a Certified welder and Mechanical Engineering Technologist I have
acquired extensive experience working in active mines, such as Whitewood
Mine, Muskeg River and Jack Pine Mine as well as Kearl Lake Project north
of Ft McMurray.
My responsibilities included but not limited to ensuring welding practices
and procedures were followed and were completed in a timely manner and
correctly, on many different types of mining equipment. As a welder working
for Fording coal, I assisted the maintenance foreman in the scheduling of
work to be carried out by the welding department.
Before a project was started I would conduct a pre-job hazard assessments
of the work to be carried out which was reviewed with the crews, ensuring
that all HSE protocol was closely followed by all employees resulted in a
significant reduction of work site accidents.
