Resume:

February ****

To whom it may concern,

Please accept my cover letter and resume as application for the welding

foreman position you have within your company. I am confident that I have

the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to become an asset to your

company.

As indicated on my resume, I have obtained the Alberta Journeyman Welder

certificate with the Interprovincial Red Seal. I also have completed the

CWB Welding Supervisor course and the CWB Welding Inspector course being

proficient in W47.1 and W59 codes. I also have over 15 years of experience

in the welding field. Throughout my career, I have worked as a maintenance

welder, production welder and a welder fitter all for which I believe has

allowed me to broaden my skill set. Needless to say, I know how to weld but

more importantly I understand how to weld. With that in mind, I'm always

looking to learn more and to always find cost effective ways to improve the

company's bottom line and productivity.

I am a very determined and dedicated individual who can easily adapt to new

skills and work techniques. I have the initiative to take on new projects

and see them through to completion. I am a team player, natural leader and

welcome the opportunity to work and collaborate with others in order to

achieve objectives and goals with safety always being a priority. I

believe that I would be a great asset to your company and would not

disappoint you should I be granted the opportunity to work with you.

Assured that my abilities and experience will meet the requirements to

become a part of your team, I am open to the opportunity to discuss how I

can use my skills, education and knowledge to serve your company as a

Welding Foreman. I can be reached at 705-***-****.

Sincerely yours,

Daniel Lamoureux
