Project Description: The project is to port the client's application from

Solaris to Linux. The Operations and Management Platform (OMP) provides

tools and interfaces that support the operation of a CDMA network.

Functions available through OMP include Service Measurement (SM)

collection, its processing, storage and forwarding. It also provides the

management services like logging; SU (Software Updates), provisioning,

retrofitted tools support, licensing and feature control. The existing ALU

OMP software builds and runs on a SUN Solaris SPARC based machine. The work

effort is to port the existing software base to a new Linux Operating

System (Monta vista Linux).

Duration of Project: 24 months

Tools Used: SubVersion(SVN), CMS

Roles handled :

. Co-ordinating the activities with the offshore development team.

. Leading, tracking and managing a team of 12. The team was doing

development, maintanence and Unit testing of UNIX shell scripts.
