troubleshooting and repair of hardware malfunctions on
tactical computer systems for the area of northern Iraq.
This entails detailed board level maintenance on all systems
in the General Dynamics CHS2 and CHS3 programs. In addition
to military, ruggedized computers, I also worked extensively
on commercial, off the shelf, systems. Some examples of the
commercial equipment I repaired would be, Servers, Routers,
Laptop computers, Desktop workstations, printers, projectors,
Uninterruptible power supplies and monitors. My
responsibilities also include processing RMA's for warranty
parts and all logistics functions, including the maintaining
and ordering of parts stock and equipment for swap.
Customer service and interaction is a major function in this
capacity. I was also responsible for life support functions
of other employees under the General Dynamics contract.

In this position, I troubleshot and maintained plant equipment,
to include hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC and mechanical systems.

In this position, I established procedures and performed all
communications related support functions in support of Ranger
training in a desert environment. These included radio repair
and accountability, and communications security. This was a
very challenging and rewarding position in which I was able to
put my past experience to work to fulfill a difficult mission.
