Manufacturer and worldwide distributor of video security systems.

Management of approximately 30 associates in areas of financial accounting

and reporting, cost accounting, accounts payable and payroll. Also

includes financial planning/analysis and internal controls review and

implementation.

. Designed and automated financial reporting for Pelco as a partnership and

corporation. The automated financial reporting allowed consistent and

repeatable financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and monthly

reporting as required by corporate entity.

. Analyzed manufacturing productivity at plant level in compliance with

corporate requirements. Provided financial details that allowed

operational and financial management to focus attention on areas needing

improvement which was the starting point for programs to control costs

and / or increase productivity.

. Accumulated and calculated all year-end tax reporting data for the Pelco

partnership, including all tax credits and book to tax adjustments.

Prepared calculation of quarterly income tax estimates and distributions

to partners. Subsequent full audit by the IRS and State of New York

resulted in no audit adjustments.

. Developed and submitted 1st detailed budget for Pelco as required by

Schneider Electric within 1st 10 days of ownership change. Business

partnering for sales and operations in development of annual budgets.

. Calculated quarterly bank covenant results as well as preparing bank

compliance statement. Also integrated covenant requirements into top

level forecasting required by bank syndication.

. Preparation and review of business cases. Recent business case was the

outsourcing and sale of fabrication activities and equipment of Pelco

Inc. to a 3rd party. Business case conclusion was to continue in-house

fabrication as the outsourced cost was a 50%-100% increase.

. Performed due diligence work for sale of Pelco partnership. Due

diligence analysis was limited to very small team due to highly

confidential nature of the sale.

. Finance representative in selection and implementation of manifest

freight system. Outcome of new system provided accurate freight costs by

activity for financial reporting and ability to provide best price and

service in transporting product to customers. New system also provided

accurate costs for accruals for unbilled freight charges.

. Prepared and reviewed monthly sales reports for executive staff,

including territory analysis, product sales, new product sales comparison

to forecast and customer discount analysis by product and dollars.

Worldwide manufacturer and distributor of healthcare products. Coordinated

and managed system conversions. Conducted on-site troubleshooting for

problem divisions worldwide during company consolidation and implementation

of centralized procedures. Established adequate reserve levels, identified

procedural breakdowns and performed follow-up monitoring. Review of

internal controls and recommendations/implementation of controls.

. Eliminated recurring distortion in profit margins and inventory shrink by

uncovering $2M error in bills of material resulting from faulty cost
