OBJECTIVE

To utilize skills obtained as an Air Traffic Controller at Washington National

Airport and the Federal Aviation Academy (Oklahoma City, OK), as an aviation Air

Traffic Control Instructor. To utilize experience as Automotive Parts/Service

manager at various Northern Virginia dealerships.

EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE

Automotive Management

Director of Fixed Operations (parts and service departments) at various automotive

dealerships throughout Northern Virginia and Southern Maryland. Operations

include staffing, policy and procedure planning, generating reports, and monitoring

gross profits, excelling at employee relations.

AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL

U.S. Army- Southeast Asia (1968) and Davidson Army Airfield (1969-1970)

Provided air traffic control operations for all Army aircraft during difficult

situations in Vietnam and normal air traffic control procedures at an Army airport.

Air Traffic Control Specialist (1970-1981) Washington National Airport and Air

Traffic Control Instructor (1977-1979) at Federal Aviation Agency Academy in

Oklahoma City, Ok.

While at Washington National Airport, numerous awards were received for

outstanding performance and developing procedures for separation standards for

arriving and departing aircraft.

The FAA Academy required instructors to participate with writing manuals for

students to use during classroom studies. These manuals included guidelines for

separation standards for all aircraft and practical usage of regulations for airport

operations.
