Inventory control specialist:
• Receive all the purchase orders, checking each product in detail, applying the quality control, to
put the items into stock. Entered purchase orders into computer system, which is checked daily
for accuracy Inventory control. Cycle count is a daily duty. Check and control UPC codes, item
descriptions and item numbers to maintain an accurate and updated inventory. Manage the floor
employees to control, supervise and track all the incoming products. Work with Purchasing
Managers to enter, track and control all the purchase orders. Checking, controlling and tracking
all the purchases orders in conjunction with purchasing manager, in order to match the purchase
order with invoice. Cycle count allows the accurate of the inventory, the control and correction of
item numbers and description and barcodes as well. Manage and supervise the inbound and
outbound process, checking the quality of the merchandising going out.
Materials Supervisor:
• Supervise and coordinate the receipt of goods, returns from customers and inventory requisitions.
Lead and manage the cycle counting process, responsible for entering adjustments in the system
and alert de Distribution and Operations Managers of inventory discrepancies. Work closely with
Logistic Manager providing updates of discrepancies on inbound shipments, also with Category
Managers, Customer Service, and Distribution Manager. Responsibilities include monitor
inbound receipts and returned merchandise, checking all products and its warranty as well.
Control inventory levels by reviewing data, recorder and directing corrective actions to solve
inventory discrepancies. Establish necessary controls and keep records of all merchandise
received in the facility. Work closely with customer service department to solve issues related to
discrepancies of returned merchandise. Item management include work closely with Category
Managers on maintenance of the vendor/item file including creation of new items, periodic
review of all items to be sure all pricing, barcode and descriptions are accurate and up to date.
Create and manage all barcodes for products in all product groups, solving barcode issues.
Managing and training floorers and inventory employees and Quality Inspector as well.
