Managed a CIA special program for the Department of Defense and the
Defense Intelligence Agency. While at the Pentagon, frequently
briefed the offices of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff,
the Secretary of Defense, the J2, Vice Chairman, and other senior
policymakers with specially handled intelligence. Traveled to
EUCOM (Stuttgart, Germany) and JAC Molesworth (UK) to promote
broader usage of technology solutions with controlled access
information at the Combatant Commands. Liaised with the senior
military officers in Iraq and Afghanistan to provide controlled
access information and analysis as needed. Conducted research as
needed and hosted roundtables to respond to requests for
information from senior military officials. Surveyed potential
repositories and certified designated Control Officers to assume
the responsibility for control and accountability of all reporting
at their location. Moved to Charlottesville and established a new
office there in 2011. Tracked and authorized clearances for access
to a controlled-access office.

Served as an intelligence officer providing timely, tailored
intelligence; briefings; and support to the Office of the
Secretary of Defense senior officials pursuant their specific areas
of responsibility. I daily briefed the J5 offices for Asia and the
Western Hemisphere as well as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of
Defense for Global Threats and Transnational Crimes. I prepared
reports to DIA leadership and analysts to provide situational
awareness and promote production of material that met policymakers'
current and anticipated needs. Conducted research and enlisted
analytical assistance to meet policymaker needs.

Intelligence Analyst (GG- 9- 13)

Crystal City, VA
Served as an all-source analyst covering military, political and
counterdrug issues for South American countries. Published timely
and relevant assessments and products addressing those issues for
Department of Defense senior policymakers and the Combatant
Commands. Authored intelligence analysis reports, information
memos and executive highlights. Responded to Freedom of
Information Act requests for information. Drove the collection
process by drafting collection requirements and participating in
intelligence community meetings. Presented briefings to the
Tactical Analysis Team Program Manager at JIATF South in Key West.
Traveled extensively in South America, including assignments at the
U.S. Embassies in Brazil, Peru and Bolivia. Used various software
programs such as WISE, Analyst Notebook, metadata templates on
JWICS, SIPRNET and NIPRNET machines.

Represented NGIC at monthly inter-agency working group meetings at
CIA to screen migr data and identify foreign nationals for
further contact. Reviewed intelligence documents for collection
action items. Managed the defense attach visitor program to
promote an understanding of NGIC's mission and leverage command
collection priorities to improve collection capabilities. Designed
and published an on-line Special Events spreadsheet on our website
to capture upcoming collection-related events.

Bilingual Research Technician/Office Admin

U.S. Embassy, Caracas, Venezuela
Read Spanish-language newspapers and briefed articles and topics to
the Defense Attach s that they would find helpful in their
interactions and meetings with host nation senior level military
officers. Researched open-source material, translated documents,
and collaborated on production of intelligence reports to DIA
EDUCATION headquarters and other interested customers.
Acted as the Alternate Collection Manager for the Defense Attach
Office. Communicated daily with the Venezuelan Air Force
Intelligence and U.S. Flight Operations centers to secure aircraft
overflight and landing clearances. Used strong interpersonal skills
to negotiate and resolve divergent interests when bilateral
relations were tense. Prepared Diplomatic Notes to the Venezuela
Ministry of Foreign Affairs for port calls.
