Job also included some welding, (Mig, Tig, Arc) and plasma cutting.
Able to work from blueprints with minimum supervision, but I am advocate for being a team

Responsibilities included performing maintenance on various machines and transfer lines
including Newcor, Eitel, Lamb lines, Excello, Tri-way, Okuma, Tovoda, Cincinnati, and Arco
welders to maintain the operation and close tolerances of specified dimensions.
Directly involved in the installation and maintenance of new equipment and troubleshooting in
adjacent to product development.
I utilized the company internal computer system, to order parts and to log maintenance requests
required to perform preventive maintenance on machines.
Operated horizontal/vertical mill, engine lathe, surface grinder, drill press, Ziess (digital
inspection) to administer engineering changes.

TOOL AND DIE MAKER
Participated in the die building process from blueprints to finish, analyze and troubleshoot
blueprints before actual build. Included ordering materials, layout castings, plates, and dies for
machining, assembled machined parts and inspected die dimensions against specifications.

Set -up and operated the #2 Warner and Swasey turret lathe. I quickly advanced to the Bridgeport
mill making my own set-ups and running production carefully inspecting tolerances and
dimensions. I carried an excellent attendance record before being laid-off due to turn down in
switchgear demand.
