EXPERIENCE

Atlas Copco - J C Carter Pumps formerly called as Carter Cryogenics is one

of the leading companies in manufacturing of Cryogenic pumps. (From Jan2010

to till date)

Operations Supervisor

. Supervising the production in assembly, machine shop and test department.

Working as a Manufacturing Engineer.

. Heading the Production Planning and Control Department.

. Generating the manufacturing routing for parts

. Chairing the daily production meetings for prioritizing the tasks for

various departments.

. Working for continuous improvement and cost saving from manufacturing

processes. Also working on improvement in Test stand to speed up the Pump

testing cycle.

Additional Responsibilities:

. Involved in designing and integration of the Control System in between

the 12 kV Substation, Pump Testing Software LabView, VFD drives software

DeviceNet, Bentley Nevada system.

. Working on installation of new LNG and LN2 storage tanks.

development and Manufacturing of API 610 Process Pumps and BFW Pumps and

API 611 / 612 Steam and Gas Turbines in Technical Collaboration with Ebara

Corporation, Japan for Pumps and Elliot Corporation, USA for Turbine. (From

Feb 2007 to March 2009- 2 years)

Production Planning and Control Engineer

. Responsible for activity planning after the receipt of Purchase Order

from Marketing Department

. Primarily responsible to study the Customer Specific Requirements for

pump for Material of Construction, special coating and plating

requirements, Non-Destructive Testing requirements, special Instruments,

Special Inspection requirement etc.. related to the Order.

. Project Management by conducting the Kick off Meeting with the Marketing,

Manufacturing, Assembly, Engineering Departments for deciding the Plan

for dispatch of the Pumps within CDD i.e. Contractual Delivery Date by

preparing activities chart.

. Based on the dates decided in Kick of Meeting, Monitoring the completion

of various Activities like generation of Bill Of Material (BOM) in SAP,

Manufacturing drawings, Technical Specifications for Instruments, etc...

. Responsible for studying and providing information for procurement like

non-destructive testing for castings, special coating/plating/heat

treatment for components etc... from the technical clarification sheets

received from customer.

. Monitoring of the different activities by preparing Weekly and Monthly

operating Plans.

Secondary activities:

. Coordinating the Incoming Inspection activity with QC for Bought out

components like API Flushing Plans / Mech. Seals / Couplings and various

Instruments required for plans etc.

. Coordinating with QC, Engineering and Purchase for decision of Non

Conformance Report for the bought out components like Instruments etc.

Rathod Industries is a ISO 9001 company and is involved in manufacturing of

Auto and Auto-ancillary spares. (From Nov 2005 to Feb 2007 - 1.25 years)

Asst. Manager - Purchase

. Approving the Indents received from user department

. Receiving the quotation and preparing comparative statements

. Responsible for negotiation and finalization of purchase order (PO) with

due approval

Design Engineer (Product)

. Preparing Technical Clarification Sheet - Submission as well as getting

its approval

. Submission of all PPAP documents

. Maintaining APQP and doing all other QS related activities.

. Attend Customer Complaints at customer's end, Study the fitment part and

give technical assistance to customer.

. Conducting studies like PDCA, preparing CAPA reports and take actions to

solve the problems permanently

Design, Development & Automation Engineer (SPM)

Design and developed a three Semi-Automatic Machines for different

operation required for springs. The development involves following

activities:

. Finalizing of the range of technical specification of springs

. Preparing the design, with detail and assembly drawings (using AutoCad)

along with the Control Panel

. Finalizing the vendors for manufacturing, in-house manufacturing

components and outsourcing

. Assigning stipulated plan for manufacturing in-house as well as

outsourced components

. Approving the components as per drawings and assemble the components.

. Also appointed and certified as an Internal Auditor for ISO / TS 16949 -

2002
