Project Name : Intrusion detection System in networking using

genetic algorithm

Description : Intrusion Detection System In

Networking Using Genetic Algorithm (IDS)

is to identify the intruder and block the data from

the intruder to avoid the system attack by the virus.

Unlike other implementations of the same problem,

this implementation considers both temporal and

spatial information of network connections in

encoding the network connection information into

rules in IDS. And IDS inspects all inbound and

outbound network activity and identifies suspicious

patterns that may indicate a network or system attack

from someone attempting to break into or compromise a

system. It uses TCP/IP as protocol.
