Diagnose, test and repair devices by following electrical repair procedures. Use of schematic

diagrams, a variety of test equipment, and the application of appropriate electronic formulas in

testing, troubleshooting, modifying, installing, maintaining, repairing, and instructing on

electronic equipment and night vision devices. Ensure repair of COMSEC devices complies with

published security requirements. Possess knowledge of the techniques and theories of

electronics, such as basic electricity and electronic theory. Utilize various computer software

programs to input information from customers or order parts. Use computer based training

software to keep up-to-date with current equipment. Prepare job order forms and order parts

using proper forms and supply chain. Use various hand and power tools for installation and

removal of electronics equipment from vehicles. Utilize electric, gas powered and propane

powered lift trucks to move parts and equipment.

KAYA Associates, I nc., Nicholasville, KY, Jan 2011 – July 2012

Senior Field Representative supporting the U.S. Army ATC projects, to include the Army’s

Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) project, ATC specific special

projects and the Army’s Radio Upgrade project. Lead teams with site preparation and

installation efforts involving all phases of ATC communication electronics projects. Responsible

for ensuring all communication electronic installations met the FAA standards and regulations

pertaining to Lightning Protection Systems and Earth Electrode Systems.

L -3 Communications, Lexington, KY, 2004-2011

Project Specialist II fielding new electronic systems, performing new equipment training (NET),

maintaining electronic systems and developing test procedures. Supported Project Managers at

USSOCOM level down to individual SOF units around the world.

US Air Force, Langley Air Force Base, VA, 2000-2003

ATC Radio Systems Manager managed purchasing, implementation, logistics support and

modification of all fixed-based radio systems, audio recording devices and interface equipment

used to support ATC operations in the United States, Central America and Europe. Validated and

approved proposed systems configuration changes, infrastructure plans, technical solutions, test

plans, cost estimates and installation procedures for Enhanced Voice Terminal System (ETVS).

Served as an advisor to the Air Force Flight Standards Agency (AFFSA) and FAA on ATC radio

and communication issues. Responsible for creating, testing and writing the preventive

maintenance procedures for the ETVS. This same procedure is still in use today.

for the maintenance of UHF, VHF, HF, FM radio systems and associated antenna systems.

the US Secret Service, DoD and DoT. Planned, coordinated and directed communication

Candidates and foreign dignitaries. Maintained and controlled the deployment of ground radio

and telecommunications. Supervised personnel responsible for equipment installations around

the world.
