University Design Projects: 1) On a team that designed and built an air engine using machine lab tools and instruments

that ran at 6800 RPM at 80 psi. With a team of five, the project was to have an apprentice that would shoot wooden

balls up in to the air that would go vertically six inches into the air without reentering the firing chamber.

2) For junior design of a team of five, the group had to design and build a robot that weighted less than 2lbs, ascended

and descended a 30 deg. incline. I designed and built the controller along with the circuit components. Our team placed

2nd out of twelve teams. 3) I worked on a team of four to build a wireless device that would measure vibrations in high

speed spindle machines, patent pending.
