Career Objective:
Willing to work as a geologist in a competitive corporation where my skills
and working capabilities are challenged. Build my long and wide work
experience and utilize this knowledge in serving the needs and requirements
of the company. Wish to gain extensive knowledge or principles and enhance
it gradually.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
. Eligible to be a member of APPEGA, I have applied for
submission of transcripts in my universities.
. I have been working in Canada since 2008 as wellsite
geologist and got experience of working from W2 to W6 with
few wells around Lloydminster area.
. Directional well path supervision using drill cuttings,
MWD/LWD parameters, gas readings, offsetting information and
evaluation.
. Petrographic description of drill cuttings (Clastic; with
delineation of different varieties of Shale & Carbonate
Rocks), core samples and thin sections with interpretation.
. Reservoir characterization in unconventional hydrocarbons
plays (tight gas, shale gas, unconventional oil).
. Reservoir rock characterization on the basis of
mineralogy, petrology, reservoir quality
assessment including porosity - permeability
relationship, facies analysis, well logs, cores
and drill cuttings (integrated reservoir studies).
. Log analysis and interpretation in unconventional reservoir.
. Mud Logging operation with supervision, installation and
accurate monitoring of Gas Detector with relation to drill
cuttings (total gas and or chromatography operation of
equipment). Gas Data interpretation with rock description.
. Structural characterization of naturally fractured
reservoirs.
. Geochemistry, petroleum systems and basin modeling
. Geo-steering using Halliburton-Sperry's GABI resistivity
tools
. Supervision of Auger and Core Drilling, Core Handling; and
description of Quaternary Overburden and Core samples with
identification of facies.
. Wireline Logging (Gamma, Density Porosity and Neutron
Porosity Logs) and interpretation.
. Preparation of Strip Logs using GPM, GeoStrip and Well-Site
System on daily basis with final geological report of the
well.
. Technical reporting of mineralogy, reservoir
quality, core description, core analysis, fluid
sensitivity and sedimentology from thin section,
XRD evaluation and interpretation, SEM analyses of
clastic and carbonate reservoir rocks.
. Interaction with clients in detail for reservoir
quality assessment during the project.
