Highly motivated mechanical engineer seeking a challenging and suitable engineering

and advancement. I am particularly interested in renewable sources of energy such as
wind energy, hydropower, solar thermal and solar photovoltaic energy. Very hands on.

Duties: W orked along with the manufacturing and technical drawing department to
check errors in projects related to design and manufacturing drawings using
‘SolidWorks’ software. The responsibilities included producing detailed design and
manufacturing drawings.
June 2010- September 2010 Assistant Engineering Department
Company: Carlos III University (Madrid, Spain). Department of thermal engineering
and thermal projects.
Duties: W orking closely with principal mechanical engineer on several projects of
thermal load and electricity demand calculations as well as environmental impact
strategy design and refrigeration building systems (using MatLAB).
January 2009 - May 2009 Assistant Engineering Department
Company: Carlos III University (Madrid, Spain). Department of thermal engineering,
fluid mechanic and engines.
Duties: Active role in developing and manufacturing a motorcycle project. Working
jointly with other internal departments as a part of a team which was concerned with
the development and manufacture of the cylinder as well as all plans and drawings in
2D and 3D. (3D CAD systems used Solid Edge and AutoCAD).
KEY SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Project.
Understanding of computer-assisted design software (SolidWorks, SolidEdge,
Ansys, Fluent, MathCAD, Matlab, AutoCAD, Statgraphics and also brief experience
with CATIA and Unigraphics).
Able to work without supervision or as a part of a team.
Experience of developing projects, manufacturing drawings and calculating thermal
loads.
HOBBIES
Playing semi-professional football in a 3rd division Team as a captain and also
involved in coaching for children between 8 and 12 years old in the same club.
Principal monitoring outdoor activities in summer Camps as volunteer with children
aged 8+ in groups of 25 children for San Martín de Valdeiglesias City Council.
I was involved as a tutor to help pupils with school work. Running after school
Science and Math lessons to prepare September exams at equivalence of GCSE
and A Levels.
