Research Focus: Reduce the expression of the beta-catenin protein using pegylated chitosan as a delivery vector in colon cancer cells. For this purpose I have synthesized copolymers of chitosan with poly (ethylene glycol) (PEG), used them to form nanocomplexes with siRNA, and evaluated their effect on protein expression using colon cancer cells.
