procure new equipment, and supervising installation of tire manufacturing
production equipment.

Responsibilities: Sales & Service Account Manager - sales, project management, design
engineering (Inventor 3D), purchasing, planning/routing and quoting for
machine component fabrication.
2008 to 2010: HPC Automation

Responsibilities: Sr. Project Engineer and Service Manager - specialized in design of
welding, material handling and packaging equipment. Technical skills were
updated to include (Solid Works 3D and Inventor 3D) design of weld
fixtures, robot weld cells, solar cell material handling and packaging
equipment.
2002 to 2008: Hirata Corporation of America,

Responsibilities: Service and Installation Manager - I started and developed the customer
service division in 2002, which included machine installations, customer
warranty issues, customer service sales, as well as spare parts, training
programs and maintenance contracts for international test and assembly
equipment manufacturer. Included overseeing international staff, the
ability to sell, quote, manage, schedule, and grow the business unit. I
received the employee of the year award in 2007 for financial contribution.
1999 to 2001: Automation Tool Company

Responsibilities: Project Team Leader/Plant Manager of a satellite division in Greer, SC that
designed and built assembly and test equipment. Division/team startup
included overseeing plant staff, the ability to hire, manage, schedule, and
cost account for several projects at one time. Project management
responsibility included full budget responsibility, machine design,
purchase parts specifications, machine shop/part procurement, controls
systems design, machine assembly, machine installation and buy-off in the
customer’s plants.
1996-1999: DT Mid-West Automation

Responsibilities: Service and Installation Manager for very successful $5.5 million a year
business. Managed machine installations, customer warranty issues, sales
of customer service, spare parts and machine retrofits for international
assembly equipment manufacturer. Included overseeing international staff,
the ability to quote, manage, schedule, and the costing of very profitable
business unit. Machine redesign, mechanical and controls systems rework,
installation at customer’s plants, training and documentation were also part
of revenue.
1988 to 1996: Wright Industries, Inc.

Responsibilities: Highly recruited as a Senior Machine Designer and quickly promoted to
Project Engineer duties included overseeing of design staff, the ability to
manage several projects at one time, machine design, purchase parts
specifications and had very successful budget responsibility. Started
service department in 1992 and as Service Manager oversaw mechanical
and controls systems debug, machine assembly, installation, buy-off in
customer’s plants, warranty work and sales of spare parts. Sales, pricing,
and profitability of new work were another area which fell into my job
description, as well as cost tracking and budget reasonability.
1980 to 1988: Cite-Rite Services, Inc.

Responsibilities: Coordinated and supervised the installation of special machines and
material handling systems in many automotive plants, in addition to final
debug and acceptance at customer’s plant. I participated as part owner in a
financially successful small business in a very tough economy.
1976 to 1980: Cross Company (Giddings & Lewis)

Responsibilities: Machine Design & Tool Making Training Program. Tasks included design
and detail of metal cutting and assembly machines, and tool making
apprentices. I advanced quickly from detailer to designer at a very upscale
machine tool company.
Education: Bachelors Degree program in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from
Lawrence Technological University LTU (Southfield Michigan) was
Lawrence Institute of Technology.
Customer sales, support, debug and continuous improvement of
