Accomplishments: Implemented cost saving procedures in regards to min-max and some internal

• Production/MRO Buyer: All facility purchases for tooling, machine maintenance, PM’s,
production support supplies, raw materials (Stainless Steel Sheets) Managed Inventory
min-max, JIT levels, issued items to bill of material, monitored the item master, cost
reductions. Managed facility in absence of Plant Manager
• Logistics: Set up all outbound shipments including overseas documentations for finished
product.
Accomplishments: Implemented work structure and procedures that was estimated at an increase
of production to near 20%. Set new levels of customer service within the facility and improved
shipping procedures.

MRO/Asst. Production Buyer
• MRO/Asst. Production Purchasing: All facility non production purchases, tooling, set up
PM contracts, sub contract purchases and assisted with raw material purchases. Covered
for Purchasing Manager when absent. Set min-max, JIT levels, managed crib attendants
that issued materials to B.O.M.’s, capital improvement packages
• Database entry: worked within database created by sales staff, troubleshoot
questions/issues, and updating database with material revisions or new inventory parts.
• ISO-9001 element owner for several elements/FordQ-1: Created three written procedures
for certification, following the ISO-9001 template and guided other departments to help
complete their tasks
• Worked directly under plant manager for new initiatives: Set up special projects required
by Ford or GM within the material area. As the company expanded, charged by the plant
manager to hire temporary work force and weekend crew and to manage them within
schedule and budget.
Accomplishments: Reduced costs 2-5% by negotiating costs every quarter, helped streamline
work production in the inventory control area, set up new tooling purchase system with outside
company that saved thousands of dollars.
