Title : VISA Converged Infrastructure Factory

Client : VISA, USA.

Technology : Middleware Framework and Custom Tools like Geni, VScope.

Duration : Jan 2013 till July 2013

Description : Visa production applications are hosted in extensive range of

infrastructure and hardware. For upholding these infrastructure custom tools like Geni,

VScope were used. Latitude of this project was to monitor, enrich, automate and optimize

these tools and other software packages as per the framework provided by them in order to

upsurge performance and cost efficiency of the application hosted on these infrastructure.

Scripting of different packages, creating various types of monitors and infrastructure

automation were some of the tracks followed under this project.

installation packages for various middleware servers like IBM HTTP server, Vfabric,

Connect Direct 4.0.

Automating the installation process for the user end.

Creating rpm modules for the packages developed and storing them in YUM

worldwide servers holding Pfizer’s vast amount of Data to be integrated at now identified 4

Core Datacentres. Conducting and Approving the Accurate Capacity Analysis of the Existing

servers which are subjected to different Migration techniques and retiring the previously

existing servers are the Targets of the Project.
