This project is a study project and the project mainly deals with the

Generation, transmission and Distribution of power.

Main project: "A novel method for Model reduction technique"

Overview of the project: In this thesis, an attempt is successfully made to

suggest a Model reduction procedure for higher order continuous time

systems, which computationally the limitations and drawbacks of some of the

familiar methods. The proposed reduction method generates the reduced order

denominator of model by using EIGEN SPECTRUM ANALYSIS, where as the reduced

order numerator polynomial is obtained by using Simple TIME MOMENT

MATCHING. This proposed method is used for the stability analysis and the

design of the compensator for the higher order continuous tine systems.
