PROJECT

Academic Project: To Generate the Electricity by Using Wind Energy on

the Highway: An Analysis and Experimental Set-up (Feb 2013-May 2013)

Designed a model of vertical axis (Savonius) wind turbine to generate the electricity

on the middle of highway. This invention is a brilliant way to recycle otherwise

wasted energy created by moving vehicles on highway.

The design goal 9.33 W at a wind velocity of 4.16 m/s (15 km/h).

IN-PLANT TRAINING

Dalmia Chini Mill: An Industrial Training July 2012 (1Month)

As a trainee in Power Plant Department of Dalmia Chini Mill, I obtained the

knowledge of operation and maintenance of boiler (140 TPH), turbine & their

auxiliaries, generator (3-ph, 11000 V), cooling tower (6600 M3/H), ESP, and fuel

handling system (belt conveyor).

I also learned co-generation system (27 MW).

SOFT SKILL

Leadership: Lead a team of 10 students during a function of our college to plan for

Spectrum (2011-12).

Auto CAD: I designed a model for my academic project.

Team Player: I won 4 volleyball tournaments as a player of our college team.

INTERESTS

I’m a cricket player and an active member of Kanoria Cricket Club (KCC) and

completed 12 tournaments with them.

I’m passionate about running.
