To Whom It May Concern:
I am a certified Physician Assistant with three years of orthopedic experience and much more. I
graduated from Arcadia University in 2007 with my Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies. As
an orthopedic PA, I worked in the office as well as the operating room and various hospitals. I
executed hospital rounds daily, including new consults, ordering tests, and evaluating and consulting
with the on-call physician regarding treatment. My supervising physician specialized in total knee and
total hip replacements, and shoulder surgeries. I have extensive experience in first assist
with these surgeries including dislocating hips (posteriorly and anteriorly), knee aspirations/injections,
and performing hip, shoulder and upper extremity injections. In addition, I did fracture care,
casting/splinting, and wound treatment in the office.
For the past year, I have enjoyed working as a family practice/internal medicine PA in North
Carolina. In 2012, I passed my recertification exam.
My husband and I have two children, Christopher and Brianna, who are now 14 and 11 years old
respectively. Until they are older, I plan on continuing with about a 30 hour work week. This
has given our family great flexibility to work around our schedules and still have time for each
other.
If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to call my cell phone at 717-***-**** or
contact me by email at ***.********.******@*****.***. Thank you very much for your
consideration. I look forward to speaking with you.
Sincerely,
Jennifer M. Miller, PA-C
