Experience:
2007-2011: Work as an Arabic Linguist and cultural advisor on Department of Defense contracts
with United States Army and L-3 Communications. Translate during conferences and meetings
between United States Army, Iraqi Government Officials, Police chiefs, and Tribal Leaders.
Translated and gist Arabic language documents from Arabic to English and from English to
Arabic. Performing documents, including audio and video tapes. Analyzing and scan documents,
looking for names, dates, phone numbers, e-mail address and military maps. Also, as Culture
Advisor for the U.S. Army in Iraq educating the deployment troops about the Iraqi culture and
Arabic Culture in general and monitoring the Iraqi news channels and other Arabic channels.
Also, working with intelligence unit THT collecting information and interview people. Also,
teaching U.S. Army solders the basics of the Arabic language how to speak and understand the
Iraqi dialects.
