Project Title : Paddy Procurement System

Environment : Microsoft Visual Studio-2010 using Framework 4.0

Backend : Sqlserver 2008

Project Description: The paddy purchase centers are mainly located at

district level. The computers that have been deployed in these centers have

been loaded with a form based stand alone application (called PACS), which

facilitates the purchase of paddy, and issuing it to millers, storage

centers and FCI. When farmers submit their paddy here, they're issued a

printed receipt, cheque payment, and delivery memo all on the spot. The

paddy is supplied to the millers to obtain the rice which is again

transferred to the government. All the transactions are maintained online

so as to eradicate illegal selling of rice.
