Description: This project is used to avoid the accidents while crossing the

unmanned level crossing in rural areas using IR sensor.

Asymmetric Multilevel Inverter

Type: Main Project

Platform: Power Electronics

Description: The main aim of this work is to design an asymmetric multilevel

inverter and to perform modulation techniques to reduce the harmonics. These new

type of inverters are suitable for high voltage and high power applications, due

to their ability to synthesize waveforms with better harmonic spectrum. With the

asymmetric voltage sources, it is possible to obtain higher levels with minimum

number of sources. By applying this concept, magnitude of harmonics are reduced

and content at the output voltage Total Harmonic Distortion is improved
