• Analysis Of Tuning Method For First Order Process Using Fuzzy Logic

The main focus of this project is to apply specific soft computing technique-

fuzzy logic to design and tune PID controller to get better dynamic response and

static performance.

• Density Based Traffic Light Control

In order to avoid heavy traffic problems, we have designed and developed a system so

called as traffic density controller. This project makes the automatic Traffic signal

based on the density of vehicles.

• Design and Implementation of PLC for Sand Transfer System in Cast Iron

Foundry

The objective was to develop PLC ladder program in Siemens S7 300 PLC and

implement it for sand transfer automation in “Barani Ferrocast Private Ltd,

Coimbatore”.

• Undergone training at Small Industries Testing And Research Centre (Testing and

Calibration Laboratories), Coimbatore.

• Undergone 6 days of training in Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Coimbatore.

• Undergone “PLC Programming” course in PSG College of technology.

• Participated in a National Seminar on “Research Issues on PID Controllers and

Soft Computing Techniques” held in Tamilnadu College of Engineering, Coimbatore.

• Participated as Student Co-Ordinator in National Conference on “Control,

Communication and System Engineering” held in Tamilnadu College of Engineering,

Coimbatore.

• Secured 1st prize in book reviewing competition at school level
