Role: Inspection and follow up:

Develop Quality Control and Instrument Test Procedures

Interact with the construction Department and review the method stat ements of Instrument activities

submitted by them.

Inspect and monitor Instrument Activities (Calibration, Testing, and Installation), cable testing (Insulation,

continuity test), generate test reports and obtain approval from client . Reporting:

Generate Inspection rejection reports of non-conforming materials and promptly report to Material Engineer

and Procurement Departments, joint venture counter part and quarantine the rejected material.

Prepare daily activity report and Incoming material inspection report .

Quality Control Surveillance reports.

Raised and closed deficiency.

Issue Nonconformity Reports (NCRs) and ensure follow-up and closed-out.

Raise Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and Preventive Action Requests (PARs) when required and

ensure follow-up.

Field inspection of Instrumentation Installation & Testing During Commissioning:

Inspect construction work and making internal punch list as required and conduct final walk through inspection

with client.

Follow client standards in the inspection and certify field construction activities

Hand lining RFIs & Site Inspections. Witness.

Highlighted & create Red Line Drawings during inspections.

Monitoring of the installation of field instruments with relevant Hook -ups, weight/Leak test for Impulse lines,

Multi-core cable laying and Glanding termination. Cable try / Junction Box .

Instruments calibration & signal loop checking,testing and calibration of gauges, Smart

transmitters, switches, indicators, control valves, and shutdown / blow-down valves. on running

plant Testing, Calibration and Refurbishment of PSV’s.

Testing of Fire and gas detection system which include smart Fire and Gas Detectors and Line of

Sight Gas Detectors. Including ( Building F&G )

ESD (Emergency Shutdown) system with Cause and Effect Matrix .

System. function Test checking. Loop Testing of Process area and well head instrument Oil/Gas

Producing wells, Remote & Central Controlling Stations,.

Field inspection of Electrical Installation / Substation work.
