General Motors India Private Limited is an American multinational automotive
corporation headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, and among the world's largest
automakers by vehicle unit sales. In India, it independently owned dealers to
sell, service and market vehicles that it produces. Chevrolet is among the more
recent auto brands, GMI managed the Chevrolet dealership network from its
headquarters in Gurgaon, and regional zone offices in Mumbai, Kolkata and
Chennai. GMIPL currently has 250 dealerships in 178 cities across India.
All the Chevrolet dealers of general motors using this software and our work is
to give them support online and by visiting the dealership. The objective was to
build a Data Mart, develop the Mappings, Packages in SSIS and to test whether
the data set in the Data Warehouse matches with the data set in the stage
database and source data set matches with the data set in the stage database by
writing relevant SQL Queries. The Mappings, Packages were also tested for their
functionality, performance and naming convention as per the requirement.
Roles:
Analyzing the problems that occurs while using applications.
Installation of application (AutoServeWIDMS) and training at all the dealers of
South zone.
Co-ordinating technical reviews, inspections, verification and validation
monitoring for ongoing projects.
To handle all the queries and problems of customer regarding software
