Major Duties/Responsibilities : The school district has 19 schools (k5-12) and the Central Services. The district is divided
into two areas, East and West. I manage the East area encompassing 11 schools and 4 techs besides myself. I am personally
in charge of 2 schools, share responsibility of 3 schools with another tech, and manage the other techs and their 7 schools.
We are in charge of over 6,000 devices/assets in the inventory, manage the cabling and infrastructure, and provide end-user
support for facility, staff and students. My daily duties include imaging desktops and laptops using Symantec Ghost 11, anti-
virus and anti-malware removal, Novell Netware user account maintenance, advance computer, printer, projector and LCD

JFCOM GNCC System Control Officer July 22, 2010 to Nov 19, 2010

Major Duties/Responsibilities: I volunteered to fill in manning shortages to stand watch on the GNCC (GLOBAL
NETWORK COORDINATION CENTER). I served for 5 months where I completed the qualifications of Watchstander and
was awarded Military Member of the Quarter. I also became DoD IAT Level 1 Certified ( DoDD 8570.01-M) by earning my
Security+ certification. My duties included working with Computer Network Defense/CERT and Information Assurance
personnel to gather information on possible viruses and spillage (Classified material on Nonclassified networks) issues,
manage the GNCC watch floor with operational supervising of up to 12 people. I troubleshoot issues with JFCOM web
portal, issued 21 Informational Advisories and 9 System Advisories, worked with System Administrator to maintain Network
Up-time for Classified and Unclassified Networks, read STIGS and ensure IAVA/CAM/FRAGO/WARNO/CTO compliance,
provide end user technical support for more than 7,000 users across multiple networks, and trouble-shooted user profiles and
permission rights, and recreated user profiles where appropriate as well as provided account maintenance (unlock/reset
passwords/expiration dates/correct ad groups) in Active Directory. I was recognized for my Customer Relationship skills and
initiative, as well as my military bearing and leadership.
Computer Analyst Oct 13, 2006 to Mar 20, 2008
Baghdad, Iraq (US Navy Reserve Mobilized to serve with US Army 492nd Civil Affairs Battalion)
Major Duties / Responsibilities: I was mobilized for 18 months, with 12 months “Boots on Ground” in Iraq. I had two distinct
roles. Inside the garrison, I served as System Administrator and Computer Analyst, as well as served as the Civil Information
Management Technician with duties of training users, providing expert technical support and acting as an information source
to Battalion Command staff for subordinate company capabilities and needs. I also installed, upgraded, maintained and
taught the use of C4I systems such as CPOF, and Blue Force Tracker (BFT) to ensure combat readiness of both unit and the
convoy vehicles. I was the Project Manager for a $230,000 specialized computer system. I also served in the Battalion S6
shop as end-user tech support and radio COMSEC technician. Some of my other duties as part of the S6 shop were the
Active Directory and Exchange server tech for Battalion, managed the Lifecycle Replacement Program, Compiled CIM,
Radio and IT continuity books, managed DCO, and VTC video/audio communication tools, dealt with network spillage
issues and security calls by taking user information and contacting the watch. My biggest accomplishment was for 2.5 weeks,
the Battalion S6 shop (which was normally 6 individuals) was manned only by myself. I kept the whole shop running,
supported 5 convoy missions, and managed to provide Battalion level end user support. I then trained the replacement Air
Force personnel, many of them out ranking me. For my hard work and outstanding demonstration of personal skills, and
working under pressure, I was awarded the Army Commendation Medal.
My duties “outside the wire” was as a M240 machine gun gunner, driver and PSD (Personnel Security Detail). I also served
as the Communication technician for the convoys that I was on, working with AN/PRC-148 MBITR, SINCGARS, and PRC-
5 Delta Terminals.
