PROJECT CARRIED OUT

TITLE:Improved security Management Architecture for Up-keeping Routing services on

ad hoc networks.

People’s dependence on applications of wireless networks is increasing for easy access

anytime and anywhere. The presence of dynamic and adaptive routing protocols enablesquick

formation of ad hoc network. WANETs suffer from security attacks and intrusions even under

several defense mechanisms. For providing both secure options and network procedures

SAMNAR, a Survivable Ad hoc and Mesh Network Architecture was developed. Its objective is

to provide essential preventive, reactive and tolerant security structures that can be adaptive

under conditions of damages and disturbances. The purpose of SAMNAR is to design a path

selection scheme for Wireless Ad hoc Network routing. The outcome revealed that survivability

can be achieved on routing services even under several damages and intrusions.

CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS ATTENDED

Attended National Seminar on advancements in Computer Technology conducted by our

college.

Attended workshop in Open Source Operating Systems conducted by our college.

Participated in second International conference “ICSIE2013” organized by OSIET

Chennai, India.

Participated in the “Orientation Programme on Placement Training” organized by our

department.

My paper, “Improved Security Arvchitecture for Upkeeping Routing Services on

Wireless Adhoc Networks” was selected by the International Journal of Engineering and

Computer Science(IJECS).
