Software and Hardware Validation Engineer (January 2012 – May 2013)

Client: Intel, Hillsboro, Oregon, USA

Role: Software validation engineer

Responsibilities/accomplishments:

• Executed the Manual and Automated test cases on various graphic resolutions using Intel custom

tools. Executed basic acceptance test cases, functional tests as per the test plan for every SDK

(software development kit).

• Worked on Auto-eye (Intel Custom tool) as a part of validating Intel boards.

• Worked closely with developers and other QA Engineers to report the hardware and software issues.

• Validated the VDC, DirectFB and graphic drivers (OpenGL, OpenVG)

• Validated 3D stereo test cases (half frame, top down and side by side) on different resolutions

• Tracking the bugs, writing the bug reports and reporting to the developers.

the transaction data will be ported to this centralized database from the branches either through data

import or through manual entry. The system allows the user to generate various kinds of reports and

queries.

Client: Heritage Foods, India

Role: DBA Developer

Description:

Conducted state wide compensation study for Heritage Foods, sought input from every Heritage foods

vendor/ agent. Designed/Developed, analyzed, tested repositories for the data collected. Meeting with the

business analysts and collecting requirements for the reports. Using SQL Server Reporting Services

designed analysis reports to determine the agents doing good or bad business, factors affecting their

business. Work involved integrating data from heterogeneous data sources, development and report

writing.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining records in Excel Spread and exporting data into SQL Server Database using SQL

Server Integration Services.

• Performance tuning, query optimization and execution plan of queries for better performance.

• SSRS installation and report server configuration.

Description:

The main objective of this project is to validate the “COMMERCIAL INSURANCE” application in

different phases of testing. Commercial Insurance application is used by the insurance agents to gather

information of the customers and provide them with a complete view of the product, Coverage Limits,

Premium amounts to be paid etc... The Insurance Co. offers protection for the life of the customers and

their dependents.

Responsibilities/accomplishments:

• Analysis of the specifications provided by the client.

• Automate test cases using Data Driven framework.

• Daily conducting Stand up meeting as part of agile methodology.

• Tracked the defects found and send them to the developer.

• Participating in bug review and QA weekly status meetings.
