EMERGENCY INTERLOCK SYSTEM IN FCCU USING PLC
Project Description:
The Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit(FCCU)has proven itself as one of the most
important of refinery processes.By cracking heavy vacuum molecule into more valuable lighter
products.Proper detection of abnormal condition interlocks and Properly automated responses
implemented in PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER.
The main objective of this project is to increase MTBF and production rate as well
as human safety by two out of three logic in PLC.This Project Designed and implemented at
CHENNAI PETROLEUM CORPORATION LIMITED(CPCL).
