Worked 16 months in San Antonio Area bidding public and private projects and then managed awarded
projects from beginning to completion. Helped office implement hardware/software applications during
Corporate transition, assisted in training other coworkers on industry specific software.
Additionally worked developing relationships with General Contractors to further our subcontracting
business in San Antonio and surrounding areas. Relocated to Round Rock Office for the last 5 months to
support Estimating Department there continuing to bid San Antonio and adding Austin/Central Texas

Started in an entry level position on a asphalt paving crew 23 years ago with a employee
owned company that continually challenged and trained it's employees to advance into different positions.
Advanced from crew member to crew leader, ultimately running all asphalt crews for the area as Manager
of the Hot Mix Division for the Belton/Austin/San Antonio area in eight years. After 4 years running
Asphalt Operations became a Project manager for a couple years followed by the last 9 years estimating,
in the San Antonio/Austin/Dallas Area, public projects as well as private and design/build projects.
Including analyzing markets for projects, finding competitive advantages during, securing purchase
orders/subcontracts and buy out projects in order to achieve maximum profit, managing/minimizing risks
in all areas of the project to completion. My goal was a profitable job from bid, to start of production, to
attaining the end result of a safely completed and successful job. Acted as safety/radiation director and
worked on other special projects as needed such as materials sales/business marketing/subcontracting
work in order to maximize profits for the company.
Skills:
Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, Hard Dollar, HCSS and Agtek software. Trained in all areas of
contract review as well as the extensive process of detailed government documentation required to
properly execute to completion all types of highly regulated public and private work. Experienced with
many comprehensive and proprietary project management and job cost reporting programs; compiling
extensive reports from forecasting to costs at completion reporting. Field level knowledge includes
extensive equipment and materials/specification knowledge regarding Heavy Highway and Public Road
Building Construction.
