Using the combined knowledge of US Healthcare Domain and X12 Standards
the below activities are carried out:
There were two parts of this project.
I. EDI Parsing
This parser part is used to insert data from the EDI file
into database of various healthcare EDI transactions like
837,835,834,270-271,276-277,278 for both step up and step
down mechanism type.
II. EDI Generation
This generation part is used to generate EDI file for
respective transactions for both step up and step down
mechanism type.

Using the combined knowledge of US Healthcare Domain and X12 Standards
the below activities are carried out:
. Analysis of changes made in new version 5010
. Field Mapping of various claim types to its corresponding X12
standard structure.
. Incorporating field level length changes to the existing fields
of 4010 to match 5010.
. Development of Engine which fetches the data from database and
populate to the respective position.
3. Project : 5010 MIGRATION

. EDI parser and Image generation :
1. EDI parsing of the HCFA and UB Claim with knowledge of
837 .
2. Generation of Image with claim data fetched from
database.
. XML Processing,HTML parser and TIF Image generation:
1. Processing XML and searching relevant html file.
2. Conversion of HTML Claim data into XML.
3. Parsing of XML data.
4. Tiff Image generation with having knowledge of UB and HCFA
forms.
5. Generating report for processed files.
6. Project : Automation of EDI Parser

Description :
The main purpose this project is to automate the entire flow
which includes parsing and generation of EDI files. This project totally
removes manual efforts and it works as a standalone application.

created cases and ensured they were.
